Your dealership said eta to railyard is 5/1? Do you know where that railyard is located by chance? My dealer said I can buy once it is in transit so regardless of whether present yet or not, I’m purchasing on 4/30 to get existing rebates

Mine will end up at the Union Pacific Reisor Yard basically in Shreveport, LA. Once you are 4200, somebody should be able to find out the destination rail yard. Just remember the E in ETA. I'm not taking bets on the actual arrival date.

I traced back my TPW buddy who had his timeline out, and the train was a bit faster then I expected perhaps 5-6 days to Houston. I know all trains may be different but who knows? Ill see how long it takes for my sales guy to let me know it is in route, since "they check on it every day". What matters to me is a can buy it on 4/30 now, not when it arrives. I'll just take back the kids car for a couple days.

I was actually hoping mine would be a bit slower to get the new rebates in May. Is there a reason you want this months rebates? I was thinking/hoping they would be a bit better next month if anything.

Also, good to know I can purchase while its in transit. I'll speak to my dealer. Mine has been unloaded from the train but the train yard is on the other side of my state. (5.5 hour regular drive)

I get the mustang rebate as well. I am playing it safe- Ill take what I can get now as opposed to what I might get later.....you are right though, it can go either way. Im not sure if May rebates are typically better or not.
