Insurance premiums for SS?
How much are you guys paying? A co-worker bought an SS and he said his insurance premium is $180 a month. To me that seems high for a 36 year old male with no tickets or accidents. I am paying $711 every 6 months for a new Acura and my SS which ends up being roughly $59 per vehicle per month.

35 male with my wife, 35 female. no accidents/tickets/anything.
I'd have to get the exacts for each vehicle, but I'm paying 275/month for full coverage with no deductible on 07 toyota yaris 16 kia forte5 13 genesis coupe track edition 17 camaro 2ss insurance on small storage unit. It pays to shop around. I just switched over from state farm since I was 16. same everything. state farm wanted 675 a month. I promptly told them I hoped their legs grew together. |

I mean if I had a few tickets, or was at risk, but I'm absolutely not. My last accident was almost 12 years ago and was 100% not my fault (ask me how I know a 3000gt vr-4 can snap the rear axle on an f-150 if they pull out in front of you) |

Yep. Trying to compare insurance coverage with a stranger somewhere else in America is almost the textbook definition of comparing apples to oranges.

New car replacement, just shy $800/ year; 65, and only $50 more than a V6 version.
No accidents since low '80's and none attributable to being my fault. One ticket during low '90's on a state highway 55 in a 40 driving a nondescript pickup. ******** I imagine when I don't qualify for new car replacement, it ought to drop a couple hundred off for premiums. |

I got State Farm I pay about $500 every 6 months, but I have multi car discount, accident free, have house insurance with them ( more than 1 policy discount) onstar discount, nobody under 25 can drive my car discount, if you got airbags and a car alarm it’s called a safety discount or something along those lines. Being 61 helps .
There’s 3 times where your insurance actually drops 1. Age 25 2. Age 55 3. Getting married

as stated earlier, you have to compare apples to apples.
For my Camaro I have (and pay $97 a month): Comprehensive deductible $100 Collision deductible $500 Bodily Injury Liability coverage $100,000 / $300,000 (per person / per accident) Property Damage Liability $300,000 uninsured motorist $100,000 / $300,000 (If an uninsured or underinsured driver injures you or your passengers, we'll help pay up to) Medical Payments If you or your passengers are injured in an auto accident, we'll help pay up to $100,000 Accident Forgiveness included Towing and Labor included USAA is the carrier and I have 2 speeding tickets in the last few years, for sure one within 3 years and one claim for backing into a car parked behind my driveway last year - that may have been solved under home owners though). and yes USAA is fantastic, if you are a veteran, I highly recommend them.
