No USB power at all
I have an issue with my 2016 1LT completely base where the USB ports in the center console are not working. They do not work with any phone, cable, flash drive (I tried new and old cables along with other phones). I read on here that people were able to fix this by taking the negative end of the rear battery off and letting that sit for a few hours which I did, there was a reset I only know because it made me relearn the windows. But the USB ports still did not work, I have tried cleaning them as another member suggested in another thread but that sadly did not work.
One important thing I did notice is that when I had the car on and was testing different cables, the ports themselves were hot (not scalding) but they did not work. I did go to the dealer but my car is out of warranty at about 61k miles so they wanted $150 to look at it only, then they'd want more to fix it so this is my last ditch attempt to see what's wrong with it. I essentially only want to use CarPlay on my iPhone. Edit: I fixed my issue in another thread. Last edited by Bumbleboy92; 05-08-2019 at 06:10 PM. Reason: Fixed |

Try this the usb is charged by the radio, if not get a usb charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter.
