Checking In
Just checking in, haven’t posted a lot since selling my Camaro almost 10 months ago.
What’s everyone up to? Miss the daily banter on the site. I have joined other forums and groups but it seems like most of them are populated with rude obnoxious people that all they want to do is insult and demean new members. I hope Camaro5 has not fallen into that. Things are going good here, I had a selloff of several vehicles since the first of the year. The Camaro was just the beginning. I also sold my Colorado, and my wife sold her VW. We also traded our Buick Encore for a 17 Cruze Premier Hatchback. Still have not found that perfect classic car, one that I fall in love with as soon as I see it. Some have come close but still are missing what tugs at my heartstrings. I know when I see it there will not be any doubt that it is the one. Everyone take care, and drive safely! Tim

Yeah it just wasnt comfortable on long trips, after we went to Kansas last year in it we discovered the seats were too hard and no good back support for long periods behind the wheel. We thought it would be ok but the longer we had it the more annoyed we got with it. The Cruze seats are much more comfortable, not quites as comfortable as the ones in our G6 but I can drive all day without feeling worn out.

I absolutely loved my G6. Great car. Wished I could have kept mine.

My dad bought a 2018 Envision. Other than the start/stop, he really likes it.

We have really liked ours, we have the retractible hardtop and it is so much nicer that the cloth top that was on our Camaro. No waterbag in it that traps water and causes the windows to fog up and water condensation on everything inside in certain weather. Also no tonneau to fool with or flapping cloth top when it is down.

Hi. I'm still here. Still have my Camaro & hubby's 2 along with my 370Z & the GMC Sierra. Currently in process of moving to a new house after 30 years in this one. Hard work but will be worth it. Glad to hear all is well with you. As for C5, it is quiet here but still friendly.

I was down your way in June for the NHRA Thundernationals and a side trip to Gatlinburg. Stopped by Floyd Garrett's along the way. Awesome place. You should be able to find a nice classic muscle car there, lol.

Lol went to Pigeon Forge a couple weeks ago during one of the car shows, unfortunately everyone thinks their cars are made of gold... even the project cars for sale...
