Sadly, if this trend continues I for one doubt we will see a next gen Camaro in the future. Only hope at this point is if the 2019 refresh is the saving grace for a large boost in the numbers shown here.

Here it comes...the doom and gloom.

The truth is, the Camaro will live on as long as they are building another car that can share its platform. For the next gen, GM has already stated they are building new Cadillacs on the Alpha 2 platform. You can bet that there will be a 7th gen. In fact, I'm sure its already well under development.

If Cadillac had announced they are building no cars to replace ATS or CTS any longer, I might be worried.

We can hope that it breaks through to that untapped Cheshire Cat Fandom market.

Doesn't bother me. I like to have access to a relatively inexpensive sports car that was heavily discounted, looks amazing, and where parts are very accessible. My only concern would be how this impacts the 2nd hand market.

true, but if the Cadillac cars struggle like the ATS/CTS have then they would need Camaro to pick up the slack

Don’t worry guys, those 36% were rental sales. I’m sure ATPs increased 50000%. Everything is fine. Yep, no problems here.

Aren't they canceling the ATS/CTS for next generation and are simply going with the CT5 being the smallest car they offer?
