I placed an order and specified the smoked/dark version.

Even if they don’t ship for a month, that’s perfect for me. We’re moving and I’m going out of town for month of June. Flying out this upcoming Saturday. If they’re awaiting my arrival back in July then it’s money well spent.

Well if you were waiting to buy the GM dark tail lights, give it a month or two and there will be a lot getting dumped on the market.

Just another confirmation of what others already stated, that the dark/smoke lens are not readily available to ship at this time.

The first production batch are at the factory now. They will undergo a QC check and testing before being sold and shipped. The expected timeframe for completion and shipment is a month.

The manufacturer and I exchanged messages yesterday where he gave me that insight. Additionally, the default delivery time was 7-15 days. He asked that I adjust the delivery time, which you can do in Alibaba, to 30 days to account for the delay, which I did.

It's as though the site is more catered to re-sellers versus single purchasers.

I did go on the actual company's site and they seem willing to work with single purchasers but I am pretty wary about ordering directly from a Chinese company with the language barrier and shipping cost for a single item.

Yea I know how you feel, I finally went to the very first link in the thread and found the best price I could and even after that the purchasing process seemed really shady, but we'll see what happens
