I did a search and read the threads that were found, so no need to really rehash too much.
1) Seems like there are limited options now, especially for a 1LE. What is the experience had with what is available? Since it seems there is a 50/50 "need" for them, those that have installed them do you believe they have: 1) made a difference 2) have held up over time It also appeared there were some installation issues with leaks. Some were solved with new sets, some with a bit tighter than spec and others from replacing the factory connection. Currently just "spirited" driving mainly on the weekends.

I was unhappy with my brake pedal feel when I bought my 2016 SS. I upgraded to Goodridge stainless steel lines in 2021 and I was happy I did.
Earlier this year I screwed up and dropped my caliper on the brake line and kinked the line. So I replaced that one line with the old OEM one and the pedal feel went to shit. So I bought another Goodridge set, replaced the one line again, and once again the pedal feel was way better. Definitely worth it. It's honestly a little surprising how much of a difference it makes. |
