LT1 low side fueling question
I have a LT1 with full LT4 fuel system. Im trying to figure how far I can go on E before running out of low side. With that, how far is a JMS BAP going to take me? A couple of shops I talked to claim no improvement from the JMS BAP (or very minimal) - note they were also trying to sell me an aux system instead.
Im not a huge fan of the DSX auxiliary pump, at that price point, I would rather just spend the money for a double/triple in-tank. As of now, it's a basic build: whipple 3L with 4" SC pulley, headers, exhaust, CAI, LT4 fueling, and DSX FF sensor. |

If I could do it all over again I would go right for the Fore Triple. Buy once cry once lol. I messed around with LT4, DW400, JMS voltage booster and I was constantly running out of fuel. Fore Triple solved it and future proofed the low side. If you think you’re going to road course track the car then do the Katech dual since it keeps the factory style bucket. But big power is Fore territory.

I believe that DSX dual drop in is similar to the Katech dual drop in as well so should perform similar. Katech is great to deal with so I tend to default to their stuff if there is a choice.

I am sure they would be fine, the Fore triple just has more overhead. The DSX dual-intank is a bit ambiguous by description with the page stating: "The plug and play control system requires your vehicle to come equipped with RPO LT4, G96, MF6, or MI2! We are working on a retrofit for these systems. All 2022-2023 Camaros are compatible with this control system regardless of RPO configuration." AFAICT, It wouldn't be plug'n'play on my '16 2SS; although, I haven't called to confirm. Also, knowing I will be going PI at some point, the Fore triple would support that far better. |
