Slight ticking noise when ZL1 hood open
Hey folks,
I have a 2023 Camaro ZL1 1LE and happened to have the hood open this evening while the car was running. I noticed a slight ticking noise at idle and wanted to confirm with others to see if this is something I should worry about or if I'm just worried for no reason. Completely normal. The ticking you hear is most likely injector noise.
I will say that these online videos can't reproduce the actual sound profile, so one can't be 100% sure, this isn't proper diagnostics  My engine ticks much louder to begin with (because of the long tube headers), but it's barely audible on recordings.

He quickly said, hey you need to fix that exhaust leak. I was like what? So, we put the car on my Quick Jacks and he showed me black carbo lines by the header flag, we loosened up the flanges and re-tightened and fixed this issue.

These cars are pretty 'loud' if you've never heard one before comparatively speaking.
