Shop Hours Edlebrock Install ?

Mine just broke so I've got to send it to Kong for repairs. How many shop hours are reasonable to pull it off the motor and pack it? And how many hours are reasonable for unpacking it and reinstalling it? I'm too old to even think of lifting that thing off and on the motor so my shop will do it.

Hard to say but it’s the hours the shop charges for labor. Good luck!

Not sure about shop hours.

But, Had mine off a few times... For me, it would be off, and in the box in 2-3 hours +/-

Careful install + HX bleeding would take about 4 hours +/-

I was thinking one hour, maybe two for the reinstall, excluding air bleed time, and I would bet he will beat those times.

We have swapped mine in less than 2 hours at the track between qualifying and eliminations, but there were a few guys on it. If I had to guess, the billable hours is probably 5 hour off and 5 hours on.

Yea, two guys will do the work, so removal say four shop hours at $175 (I believe)

It took two hours to pull the inlet, hoses, TB, Eddie, valve covers, turn it over and look in cylinders, poke around, and put it all back together. We did not find a problem except it looks as if the bottom pulley is wobbling a bit. Shop wants to drop and take the engine apart and do oil pump, thrust bearing, etc.
