I was amazed at how full the event was and I had a herd of Mustangs to contend with.

WOW!!! That's a super clean car. I see yours is a daily driver also???? Looks like you have about a 3 inch downward rake on your car. I know mine is about the same it but is a little lower. Did you ever have 1LE side skirts on the car???

Before I moved to Dallas a couple years ago, it was my DD (which is why I didn't buy a ZLE :( ). Now I mainly use it for track days, drive it to work on nice days, etc. Car is stock aside from Cup2 tires, rollbar/seat/harness and a rotofab intake. Have a couple power mods sitting in the garage, but my tune wasn't ready before an ECR track day back in November, so I pulled them off til I can get back to it.

YEP I agree. I had a ZL1 1lE DD for roughly 3 months and 3 sets of 3R tires*and that was enough for me. We had to drive it back in the rain from FL to Dallas and the car basically was completely unstable at anything past 50-55MPG in the wet stuff. I cant imagine giving a kid that car as his DD because it is nothing less than a loaded gun. The last set of tires I put on it were just the GY3's and they were worlds better in the wet than the 3R's although not nearly as track capable as the 3R's. The 3R's were almost as fast as slicks on the track but their longevity sucks.
