ZL1 Vert rear seat wind
Hi all!
I'm thinking of trading my 22 SS 1LE for a 23 ZL1 vert. I traded my 5th gen SS vert for the 1LE and I miss the open air but I traded it because my kiddos were blasted by air in the rear seat. any owners have any advice on the wind blast in a 6th gen? windows up help?

My kids are adults so cant comment on them back there, I have had my dog in the backseat quite a few times and yes, with the windows up there is a huge reduction of wind "chopping" in the backseat

The kiddo's will probably appreciate all 4 windows up as it will be blowy in the back seat. VertThings(TM)

There is lots of wind in the back seat even with the windows up. 2nd row sits higher than the front row. Also, buy the windscreen for the 2nd row it make it possible to go down the highway with the top down and still be comfortable. You can save money buy it form one of the GM parts resalers. I think I have seen it as cheap as $395 compared to $500+ when you order.

Rear seat wind is still going to be an issue. As BundiMan mentioned the rear seats are also higher up than the fronts. I have a 5yo who loves it if we’re just cruising down side streets but beyond that it can get pretty choppy for anyone back there. I’ve had adults back there on the highway who can bear it but it’s not ideal. If I have to take the kiddo anywhere long distance top is usually up. That being said I still love the convertible.

Airflow on the 6th generation Camaro vert is certainly noticeable, but it can be managed with the help of air deflectors and other measures. If you're considering swapping your 22 SS 1LE for a 23 ZL1 vert, I'd recommend test driving one first to get a feel for the airflow. Slope
