2020 Camaro SS Transmission Service

Hello,

Plenty of videos on how to change the trans oil/filter on a 2019 or earlier model but I couldn't find any on a 2020 SS A10. Was going to just drop the pan and change the filter but i couldn't find a trans filter on autozone or similar website to purchase.

Does it not have a trans filter? Right now, I'm looking at just evacuating the pan from the plug and refilling the same amount I drained rather than dropping the pan unless I hear different.

Any info is appreciated.

I believe the 2019 has the A10 transmission as well, so if you can find a 2019 video it should be the same as the 2020...

If it’s like the A8, pulling the plug doesn’t drain the pan, it’s for checking the fluid level with the transmission warmed up.
