P0801 reverse inhibitor

Anyone ever replace this sensor?

How hard is it?

ACDELCO 54949hj part for 2010-2015 Camaro ss zl1 with the tr6060.

I am assuming these are interchangeable?

But then again with your scorched wiring issues, you're going to be better off troubleshooting the harness before firing the parts cannon. That lockout solenoid circuit has 12V battery power all the time according to my manual, plus a sensing circuit, so at least 3 wires to look after.

On the other hand, I guess it's easy enough to do a part swap and see if the problem goes with it.

Bro life saver, I found a solenoid on eBay for 95$. It it’s for. 10-15 I’m assuming it’s the same however since the trans is the same.

Would you agree? I’ll get under there and check out the wiring first. I’m hoping it’s not more burned wires. Not sure where this harness runs to, but I’ll try and find where it leads.

Here is my codes list, some are just emissions stuff but the reverse inhibitor is right there.

The hvac I have squared away.

Have a stabilitrak light I can’t seem to get a code on either with hptuner.
