Ship order to a different location from where it was ordered?
If a person is willing to go the route of placing an order with a non-local dealer, is it possible to have the vehicle shipped directly to a local dealer instead of the dealer the order was placed at?

Yes, as vq35sd indicated. You will need to provide the ordering dealer with the dealer you want to use. Also don't expect red carpet vip treatment when you pick it up.

The receiving Dealer must agree to accept the vehicle. The Dealers will need to talk, because the receiving Dealer will want some money for doing this.

Thanks everyone for confirming.
I do have an order in with a local dealer, but am willing to work with one outside my area if I can find a higher volume dealership that is willing to honor MSRP. If anyone has any recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. |

You could probably have it shipped directly to you I’d think, you’re paying for shipping either way. The non-local dealer would send you all the paperwork to sign one way or another, do the dealership delivery stuff then probably send the car to you. Other thing you could do is depending on how far the dealer is fly out to the dealer and drive the car home.
Also I don’t think GM dealers are allowed to charge mark-ups on customer orders any longer.
