AFM Active Fuel Management

Hi All, so I just got my 2023 ZL1 a few weeks ago, I am learning the ins an outs of the car. From all I can tell going thru all the driving mode screens, and the feel of the car when driving , the car does not have AFM , reduces to V4 mode on lite throttle. The C8 Corvette Stingray and C7 Corvette ZO6 LT4 have it. My 2022 Camaro SS had .it The question is does the ZL1 have it and I haven't found the driving mode screen its located on. My SS if I remember correctly, was on the instant fuel economy screen. Thanks.

It does/doesnt have it...

Meaning you have all the DOD hardware in the motor, but none of it is enabled to use. So its all there, but you car will never activate it.

Its standard procedure to remove it all when doing a cam on the ZL1.

This. AGM/ DoD is not utilized software wise but all the hardware to run it is there minus the stuff at the back of the exhaust.

Thanks Guys for answering, and that's great news. IMO it doesn't belong on a Performance Car , or any Car, when it puts the longevity of the motor at risk. Parts failure , Cam ,Lifters ,Valve train, Torque Convertor, Transmission. All has been documented . My next question , is it because of chip shortages that it is not activated or hooked up?

Nothing to do with chips this has been that way since 2017 ZL1
