17 ZL1 what a car....
|
Best site to sale ZL1?
Hey guys its time for me to sell my 2017 ZL1 A10 with 6,950 miles on it. Where is the best place to sell a car online. I looked on Ebay but that was a bit much for the charges. Any Idea what I should ask? Always garaged and some bolt on mods see signature. Thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is the easy answer.... but I would at least post it on this forum, I've bought and sold a few cars through the forum and it has always been a smooth transaction.
Good Luck!

I can't recommend autotrader.com. about 90% of my responses were scammer requests. I even had one tool send me a check (later found out it was a fake check). Have you tried car meets, track days, etc.?

Just list it on ebay does not mean you have to sell it on ebay. Over price it a bit and when someone messages you to talk about price just take the sale off line if you make a deal meet in person and just take the auction down. you dont have to do the sale through ebay. costs you nothing.

It's a car, not a boat. Don't sale/sail it (I never understood how people screw up this one). You can SELL it here and on any number of other sites effectively.
I would start here after researching pricing. |

Here and/or Cargurus. It's pretty cheap to post on cargurus also.

I drove my 2020 to Carmax and they cut me a check for just over $65,000. I was in and out in less than 90 minutes.

Ebay fees are soo high that it's a wonder anyone sells stuff on there anymore. You'd have to be selling items you bought in bulk at huge discounted prices and then sell for a lot just to make it worthwhile. So scratch that off your list.
List it on here or on one of the many 6th Gen ZL1 pages on Facebook. |

You might want to look at BAT (bringatrailer). It’s a $99 fee to list an auction. The buyer pays the big fee when he wins an auction. They have been selling the hell out of GT350Rs there lately. I can’t remember ever seeing a ZL1 1LE on there.

It is how I sold lots of cars I make the listing because ebay has the biggest audience. When a real buyer is interested just take to the phone and make the deal off ebay. Whats the difference for the seller doing it that way then any other way? they would of course talk to any potential buyer and meet them eventually no matter where they sold it. all making the listing does is get you car out there to a bigger audience. taking to the interested party after contact out side of ebay is no different then selling it on facebook or any forum. you are just basically using ebay as a 1 dollar advertisement. just dont let the sale be finalized through ebay or you are gonna get hit with fees. thousands of dealer do this exact thing with ebay. there are thousands of adds that you see that are from dealers and do you think once you contact them about the car they finish the sale though ebay? Nope... |
