Whipple install issues

So I just installed my whipple on my 17SS, loaded the canned tune whipple has supplied. Fired the car up and everything seemed fine at idle. Tapped the throttle and it went up to around 1700, and it stayed there, the car would not idle back down. Has anyone else had this issue? If so what was the solution?

So for starters, is the rest of the car bone stock, or other mods?

Lt4 fuel system and Lt headers

Canned tune doesn’t work with other mods. You need a tuner as the LT4 fueling has different parameters that need to be input.

^Agreed. Canned tunes are for stock cars with no mods other then the supercharger system.
