I need a new pcm for my 2016 camaro ss (manual) and was trying to buy one online but they need a part number because they couldn’t find it off my VIN. I called Chevy trying to get the part number but they won’t give it out unless I buy it from them (which is way more than what I can get it for). Any help?

No matter what you are going to end up at the dealer. The PCM goes not come flashed with any OS or firmware since it is used across several platforms. The vehicle will need to be at the dealer and they will need to be logged into the system in order to flash the firmware into the new PCM.
