Mine have 29k miles and 4.5 years of ownership on them. No signs of wear or tear yet.

When I traded my SS in the dealer specifically asked the condition of the seats. Requested multiple close ups of them more so than anything else. It was a big factor for them. Said mine was the best condition cloth they’d seen. It’s possible to keep them nice, but it takes some work.

I think that might possibly be a bit of a personal use thing. I had cloth seats in an '07 Tahoe I traded in on an '18 Tahoe.. So 11 years. The cloth seats looked basically brand new when I traded it in.

133k miles, 4 years, 2 kids. The seats have held up quite well through my family's punishment.

Where the seat belt contacts it is a weak point. Mine is showing signs of wear at 20k miles.

I guess the Colorado had crappy seats in 08. My 05 was ok.

If you pound out the farts with a 16 lb sledgehammer every 6 months or so they hold up quite well.
