Hey all, I just got the go ahead for a rear drag pack. What wheels and tires should I get? Also when do I get them. I don’t mind but wheels at one place and tires at another. Also I will have discount tire do the mounting and balance so they can also price match. Help a brother out. Budget is $1200-1400 so no Weld wheels or Bogarts unfortunately. Lol

Those look like a good set. Will the SS tires be enough for my car? Current set up is 780whp and don’t want to blow the tires off.

For the race stars, is 17x9.5 with 6” BS sound about right?

terry reeves at beefcake racing will basically take some $$$ off year round. of course they’ll be having a huge Memorial Day sale if you can wait that long.

he’s a mustang guy mainly, but sells parts for almost anything and is a big drag race guy. i always recommend him after he called me on a sunday to assist a header install just after seeing a post of mine on M6G. customer service is top notch, and the prices are also.

I have a 17x9.5 on mine... I have heard of folks running the 10 inch wide but not the 10.5. I think the 10 inch requires the wire harness move, which isnt a big deal.

I have the harness moved already as I’m running a 325/30/20 on my street set up.
