Cams and california...?
Anyone with experience on cams and california emissions testing? I know I have 3 or so years left but would hate to revert to pass smog.

Considering you’re in the Bay, there are places you can go that’ll help you pass, if you catch my drift. But since you have a blower already, if you’re dead set on getting a cam to pass emissions in California, look into getting the LT4 camshaft. Because if they hear some chop when you pull up, that won’t be a good day.

I’ve never considered that a camshaft might not be emissions compliant. Not that I’ve looked deep into it, but I don’t recall any websites stating “not legal for sale or use in California “ the way they do for intakes and headers.
