Leather door and console Knee pads

Does anyone know exactly what package the leather knee pads came with? I have a 2LT and they came with the plastic knees pads. The dealer can't even tell me how they decide who gets leather and who gets plastic.

I have a 2017 2LT and it has leather knee pads. Do you have leather seats?

If you have a 2LT you would need the "Convenience and Lighting Package" to get the kneepads from the factory. 2SS has them standard. You can also order them from GM as an LPO item.

Yeah , I have the leather seats, but not the lighting. The dealer says they can't find it in the convenience package. Then went up the chain to GM and say they just don't know. I have heard it comes with various packages but have never seen anything in writing anywhere. I am trying to get them to give me the leather pads since I have the leather seats but they can't/refuse to give me a good answer.

Along the same line, my son's RS, 1LT has a cloth interior so plastic knee and door pads. GM Accessories shows a 4 piece set for $325. He wants them, but does this replace the plastic ones on the console and the doors? No way we are giving that price just for the console.

The 2lt with tech package but without the lighting and convenience package should have leather knee pad on the console but not the doors. The lighting and convenience package will come with upper door bolster in leather as well as leather bolster at the knee level on doors and console knee area.

The 4 pc set would be 2 doors and 2 console pads.

If you want, you can buy the door pads seperately and skip the console pads.

The console pads are more expensive and in my opinion not a big deal.

These are black leather white stiching.

23365010 (Armrest Cover, Left)
23365023 (Armrest Cover, Right)

They cost $49.25 each.

Thanks, GOMD, looked at the door pads only, but hat does it mean "with light package"? Everything on his 1LT doors are plastic except the door armrest which is padded. Nothing on the door is "lighted". When I ride with him, my left knee hits the console knee pad which is black plastic and my right knee hits the plastic "pad" on the door ( if I don't extend my legs totally straight forward. From what you say, I can get all 4 pads from GM for $325, The GMParts guy wants about $282 just for knee pads. Right?

I bought mine off here from someone who removed them at the dealer for $150 shipped. They come up all the time. Last set I seen was high but regularly under $200 in the for sale section.

Check eBay. Wife got me set of 4 leather pads for doors and console for under $100 bucks a little while back. Yes they were brand new.

I wouldn’t worry about the description, I bought these already and they are just leather wrapped versions of the hard plastic knee pads, and they have the same stitching that matches the leather elbow rest that was already on the door.

I have a 1SS...same interior (mostly) as a 1LT...for around $100 you can get the leather knee pads for the driver and passenger doors.

The console pads are more expensive, and if you want them too, you’d prob be better off waiting for someone to sell takeoffs, or searching for best price on that 4 piece set.

Check out post 4428 and a few after .
