purchased 1 pully size smaller........

on my Maggie. Stock is 98MM and just purchased a 95MM...
1) how much boost will the pulley add?
2) will I need to buy a new belt?
3) assuming I'm going to need a re-tune.?

I just also purchased Ted's recommended plugs from another thread I had a while ago. (Thanks!)

Currently its putting down 527ish at the wheels. I'm not thinking needing a fuel upgrade, but eventually will (just not this year) I've already dumped a ton of money into this so its off the table till next Christmas. Still flirting with the 2" headers, but not completely sold on the "is it worth it" cause.
Thanks in advance.

The 95mm pulley will give you about 1 psi more boost and will work with your current belt and stock cal on 93 octane, a custom cal will get you the most power out of the extra psi of boost.

Just for reference - the stock belt will work all of the way down to an 80mm pulley. if you want to go to a 75mm or 70mm you'll need a slightly shorter belt.

If you're at sea level, the smallest pulley the stock fuel system (with higher octane) will support is ~90mm. As you go up in altitude you will be able to run smaller to compensate for the lower air density.

Happy New Year!

I run a 90mm pulley for the street with a 93 octane tune, plus a little water/meth injection. I have about 8 lbs on the street and 12 for my track setup with my 80mm pulley. I ran a 95mm pulley with Mikes tune and went 10.82@129.88 with 544 at the wheels then with a Hoosier/Race Star Drag Pack. You'll like the extra power and you should make a few more hp/torque at the wheels. Have fun.

Well this just got interesting. I'm wondering if I can go to the next smaller pulley. I do not have the stock tune, I had it retuned with HPTuners to better suite the A/F ratio. I know smaller pulleys will require a fuel upgrade, but I'm not looking to blow my motor either. So with that:

I should call magnuson and have them change my order from the 95mm to the 93mm and still re-tune it? or think it might be alright with the tune I have. goal is about 550whp. then again I said that with the current set up I have, yet here we are..

Remember I run AEM Water/Meth injection for extra fuel with the 93 octane tune. I think you would need to consider that and consider the 90mm. Your very safe at the 95mm on 93 octane. Mike may chime in sometime with his opinion.

hou30, what are all your mods. That's a bunch of boost for the street. So a 3.2 would be a 78mm I think.

One of the biggest difference makers on these maggies is the TB opening. Upgrading to a 103 to get more air flow in the rotors and a large diameter intake starts to make them shine when you are maxing them out.

ok. so 103 TB. Check. can you supply a link to one? I know Pray or someone did some porting jobs, but not sure if its related

To digress with this, Will I need a tune on the pulley I will be getting.

Here are some pictures of what it is after it was re-tuned with HPTuners (from the canned SCT tune, which was rich to begin with)
