1. Powerstop ceramic pads.
2. Ceramic coating + hydrophobic sealant. |

Once a week I hit them with a power washer with warm water. Then blow dry with my leaf blower. They look like new afterward.

I had the same problem and someone recommended "wheel woolies" for the wheels. I also bought the lug nut brush and Mcgees 37 wheel cleaner. My car had 1600 miles on it when I finally got everything I needed to properly clean the wheels. They were looking pretty shabby. But after using the stuff above, they look better then when I drove it home when new. I think I ordered my stuff from auto geek, but check around for best pricing and package deals.

That lip right behind the spokes is just ridiculous. I removed mine yesterday for a thorough cleaning. These may be the toughest wheels I've had to clean. Either these or the 2013 GT500 performance pack wheels. Those were a beast to clean too.

Thank you guys for sharing your insights into what to do with these wheels!
Man oh man - I thought I was the only one complaining about these things... I spend, what seems like, the same amount of time trying to get the wheels clean as washing the entire car. They are a PITA. Do the ceramic pads make a big difference, or is it just slightly better on the amount of dust? |

https://www.autogeek.net/lug-nut-cleaning-combo.html I used to use the wooden brush with the boars hair but it just took too long to brush around each lug. Now, half a turn right, then half turn left...done. I have no affiliation with autogeek other than being a customer. |

Yeah this thread should be divided into two parts:
If you got the SS Brembo brakes, you need a ceramic coating and the powerstop pads. You can never get ahead of the brake dust without these two. If you got the smaller RS brakes, a little bit of Rinseless will do the whole wheel quickly after using a spray silica, like above. |
