For those not using dealer for oil change??
You still using the AC Delco recommended oil filter or prefer another flavor??

To clarify, it takes 10 quarts with filter change...right?

Looks as if PF64 may have been superseded to UPF64R...thanks gang. I'll go with mobile 1 oil next time as I had already picked up 10qts of the Valvoline.

I went with the 5-30 dexos 2 valvoline that Mr. W had posted a pic of some time ago...was thinking I could get away with the 5-40 since it's an oven down here most of the time, but it wasn't on the shelf & not sure when I'll be able to shake loose to track anyway.

Valvoline 5w30 is Dexos1, Valvoline 5w40 is Dexos2, both of which is perfectly fine.

I stand corrected...that little 'swish' next to the dexos sure looks like the #2 without granny glasses.
