Hard downshift

So was on the tollway and going slower than the speed limit and decided to pass like usual; left turn signal tap, press gas and move over to passing lane. However, as I give it "the beans", not a hard press mind you, only have 150 miles on her so far, it downshifts really hard and bucks like I got hit in the rear. It was so jarring I actually pulled my foot off the accelerator and was looking for some CEL or something saying I broke something... Anyone else had a hard downshift?

BTT - No one has had a rough downshift on a roll and accelerating? Well alrighty then.

What mode were you in? The car will go into performance shift mode if you aggressively apply the gas. That tends to yield you the lowest gear possible and therefore an immediate application of torque.
