goodyear f1 asymmetric Question
My 2016 camaro 1Lt came with the goodyear f1 asymmetric 2 front a rear same size, the ss rear tire are bigger.
Im goin to buy the goodyear f1 asymmetric 3 and I was thinking if I should buy the rear ones 275/35ZR20 (rear) for better traction , tirerack is recommending me to do it but I don't have the ss Last edited by glovo; 03-26-2017 at 09:28 AM. |

If you have had any traction problems yet I would stick with the same sizes you already have. You can always call and get the size you need.
I'm going to order the Extreme Contact A/S myself for my SS from there in the next week. |

I believe your 6th Gen 1LT/RS came with 8.5" wide wheels front and rear. The 6th Gen SS models have 8.5" front wheels and 9.5" rear wheels. The TireRack consultant may not understand the difference. You will want to confirm the wheel size on your car before buying the wider tire. Goodyear's minimum recommended wheel size for the 275/35ZR20 is 9" so it is probably not a good fit for your car if your car has 8.5" wheels.
