SE Michigan Spring Drive, May 13th
May 13th is confirmed.
SE Michigan Spring Drive May 13th, 2017 10am Meetup and prep 640 Oakland Ave, Milford MI, 48381 This is what is currently planned for the drive. We will try to adhere to locations and times relatively strictly so that people can jump in and out of the ride group if needed without anyone getting lost. Also, Green Oak Village has multiple good restaurants, not just Panera. I will provide printouts on ride day and possibly radios. I currently have a private event setup for it on Facebook so if you want to be added send me a PM and I will friend request you on there so that you can be added. I will also keep this thread updated.

Nice idea but remember this is lake effect country and might be a bit too soon in the year to guarantee a problem free event; if there is snow there will be road salt.

I guess so. Average temperature for that area in April is above freezing... Think it's a big risk? I'm new to this whole Midwest thing.

Hi Nate I might be interested if you do this later in the year when everything is green. Though it's on the East side of the state, here is a pic of Mackinaw Island on May 7th last year. Temps mostly in the 40s. One day got to 55 degrees. Very few trees with leaves. But I can understand the road trip itch.
Where did you move to MI from?

Very cool idea! I'm totally in. As a life long Michigander, I can confirm the consensus that April is not an appropriate time for this. Late May or early June will be better. At any rate, I'm subscribed to this thread!
