Concerns with ARH headers
I am running ARH long tubes and have noticed that the cat connection pipe on the passenger side is less than a 1/8 of an inch from the transmissions support mount. It way clear on the driver side. Has anyone else who had headers installed, ran into this issue?
Is the transmission support mount slotted so it had be slid to the left or right a little, thinking when it was reinstalled it was not centered correctly. Long shot here as well, the center section support that runs under the mid pipe is also a little too close for comfort. I am afraid under full load it might torque and hit the cross brace. Does anyone off hand know what size the bolts are for this area (diameter)? I was going to put a couple small washers in there to gain a little clearance. For such a pricey system (long system up to axle back) I am EXTREMELY disappointing in the fitment thus far. Last edited by slick3; 01-25-2017 at 11:27 AM. |

Did you install these yourself or have it done?
I did my own install, on a C6, of LG long tubes and found I had to leave everything loose (per the instructions) and kind of tweak things as I tightened it up. It took a bit of messing around to get it right. If your within an 1/8" there is a chance you are going to get some banging/rattling |
