New Member from Houston, Texas
Hey guys, long time forum lurker and former Camaro5 member. I finally decided to join since I forgot my Camaro5 user stuff and hopefully picking up a 1LE or 2SS soon. I used to have a 2012 2SS but sold it because I needed a truck, currently my only toy is a '67 Camaro with a supercharged 383. Not much of a street car, so I'm looking for another new one to go enjoy driving again.
Currently facing the dilemma a few others have of do I want the 1LE and how much will I actually go to a road course, or do I go with the bells and whistles of the 2SS |

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
![]() oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Thanks for the warm welcomes guys. Hopefully I'll be rolling around with y'all soon, although with wanting the looks and track capability of the 1LE but the interior bells and whistles of the 2SS, I think my heart is set on a ZL1- best of both worlds....so i gotta save up a few more pennies and sell some body parts first.

Well due to the allocation issue, I may not be able to get one after all. Saving isn't a huge deal, I'll just sell my boat and that's like 70% of the payment right there, but finding a dealer locally with a 2017 allocation is difficult. I've been working with my local dealer for a very long time so I'd like to give them my business if possible, doesn't look like that'll happen though.

It's a bit late for a M6 as orders have already been submitted to GM. There are several sourcing options for members though and we always encourage local owners to become paid members : )

Oh I plan to become one, but money is tight this month. I actually have located an M6 ZL1 in Houston thanks to mlee. If things work out and I don't come to my senses soon enough, I may be a new owner within the next 48 hours. These things are expensive, but everyone I talk to is saying get what you want or else you won't be happy. I suffered this same fate when I bought my 2012 SS instead of waiting for the ZL1
