Does anyone else DRL run a little bit dimmer when you switch them from auto to DRL?

I am trying to figure out if its just my car but my DRL's are not as bright when I flip the switch. My jeep does not do this and other GM vehicles I have driven do not do this also.

Typcially DRLs are not as bright as when the fill headlights are on at night, every GM vehicle I have owned has been like this.

Yes normal when you turn the lights on or parking lights as well. The daytime running lights will be brightest during the day only.

Thats how the car works, we dont like that so we fixed it on the shop car.
