My 2016 1SS does not pull!!

Well after the many problems I have had owning my car for 6 weeks (coolant leak, suspension popping) I have one more to add; my car just does not pull. If I am at 3 to 4K rpm and floor there is no sense of G force what so ever. As I have mentioned before my 2004 Gto and 2012 mustang 5.0 would absolutely crapped on the Camaro. I am not try to create conflict but just being honest. I serously might take a 6000 dollars lost to dump this car after less than 2 months of owning it! Thanks GM. Only good thing is I am getting closer to hitting the lemon law standards.

Just venting here as I have never been more dissappoint and upset with a purchase in the past. For the record the handling, interior, looks, and NPP are amazing. If it was not for qualit and performance I would be a happy camper.

Ulimately I may have to take it to the dyno to prove my point. Anyone know approximately how much a few runs would cost? Thanks.

How can you say the car doesn't "pull?" A steady smooth torque curve may make the car feel like it isn't quick. Heck, I can check Facebook when I am running low 12's and high 11's with my 16 going down the track. Just because it doesn't feel violent when it is accelerating doesn't mean it isn't pulling hard.

And if your 12 5.0 was stock, it would not be "crapping" on your Camaro. I have had tuned/exhaust/CAI 5.0's with DR's out launch me while my tuned/PTB only car walked them hard for the win at the top end.

Sorry you hate the SOTP (seat of the pants) acceleration of your new car and I'm really sorry you've experienced warranty related fixes. I may disagree with your assessment of acceleration, but if you don't like the car there is nothing I can do to convince you otherwise. I wish you the best and hope you do what's right for you.

Mine did this too, try competitive mode or turn off all nannies, TC button on console, see manual.

The S197 feels fast for multiple reasons. The car is dead below 3-4k RPM. The gears are really short especially if you have 3.73. There is a lot of squat on acceleration due to lackluster suspension. The car is not refined.

All of that contributes how to fast it feels.

A guy tries to give his impression and concern about what his car feels like and wanting to know why, and the DB's come out of the woodwork.

1) Are you downshifting before flooring it?
2) what's your 0-60 time.

Accusations are useless without metrics
