Safe shot LT1
What is the consensus on a safe shot to run on the gen 6 without a tune?

I wouldn't spray over 100hp. I've personally done this before and it really sucks without a tune. 100hp tuned felt much better

Don't want to tune because of warranty concerns.
But I'm told it is too hot where i live to have nitrous in my car, so it is moot :( |

So you don't want to tune but you are willing to risk nitrous? Don't get me wrong... I used to run a 150 shot on my LS1 but I'm curious how you will explain away a nitrous failure if it were to happen. It's not exactly going to be invisible the moment the intake and/or heads come off.

a 25 shot.....lol
Just tune it, these motors are reliable and workhorses. GM gave Callaway the greenlight to run over 620 at the crank on stock motor, trans, and clutch, so what makes you think you're going to blow a motor within 60k miles?
