Short Shifter Kits?

Are these available for the 6th gen 6 spds?

I wouldn't mind a shorter throw and side to side.

They don't exist yet and it doesn't really need it. Maybe stiffer bushings but that doesn't exist either. If I can find OEM lower housing bushings... I have ZIP Corvette to make polyurethane ones for me but to order the stock bushings, you need to order the ENTIRE transmissions... LOL

The stock shifter is decent, but there is definitely room for improvement. MGW is working on one...

I agree, it's not bad but the throws could still be shorter, and less play. I heard back from George at MGW, they are working on it, he said probably only for TR-6060.

Yeah, good call on revisiting this thread. 1LE indeed does have a short throw on it. At least that is what was advertised and you can bet that it'll be an option for our current models.

I heard from Hurst their shifter should be ready late spring or early summer. But with the 2017 1LE and ZL1 using a short shifter, I am thinking to wait & see what the GM one will be like. I wonder if the 2017 1LE and ZL1 will be using the same short shifter and when these might be available?
