Thank you heRS! I'm gonna really enjoy retired life. I'm not PWN, I was there visiting last winter, and the folks up there took good care of me. If I'm ever up there again, I'll look up that route. THANKS!

How can i not be friends with a guy like you, respectful, honorable, admirable! All the traits a Marine has, i had a bunch of friends when down at Point Magu, they all were at Pendleton and i still have the highest respect for the honor of all those men and i was fortunate enough to meet another one when i met you!

40 yrs old and retired, hell I'm 40 and only 1/2 way to retirement...........

Gunny, congrats on the retirement, and thank you for your service, without you guys I would not have the life I am able to have. The closest I got to the service was in the volunteer fire service and wildfire fighting, so I know it hasn't been easy for you, you definately deserve it---- ENJOY!

Now what's this back to work in 2 weeks crap?

Thanks techinny! I'm gonna enjoy retirement! I took a defense analyst job. Unfortunately, here in SoCal you gotta have a lot of dough to enjoy life. And with salary being cut I had to take a job. Work my way to retirement #2!!!
