E85 is great since the octane number is spectacular and has a tremendous resistance to detonation. It also helps cool the combustion chamber due to it's high latent heat of vaporization. However running E85 means the fuel volume being delivered has to go up at the same time since E will have less energy per gallon (roughly 30% less) so you need more volume to get to the energy level needed to properly support combustion (air and fuel in the correct ratio). King has so many good posts on this throughout the Forced Induction forum... well worth the read. In any event, this is a bit off topic of 2650 vs 3.0L... Both blowers can deliver a TON of power when done right.
