On the current LME 416 set up there are about 6000 miles on it (daily driving) and about 8 track days. This engine is pretty much bullet proof or so they say. Had this NOT been a daily driver as well I probably would have done a dry sump on it as TED suggested earlier.

Oil aeration is a huge problem at sustained High RPM, there are lots of articles on this very subject, it is the fate of many racing engines.

I believe the C7 Grand Sport has an LT1 dry sump and the Z06 is the LT4 dry sump version of that engine, so perhaps those parts could be carried over, but that is a pretty big undertaking…

I have a 19 2SS and had rods and pistons, ported stock heads, full cam package, MSD intake, CAI, 2" long tube with xpipe, NW 103mm TB, wet shot nitrous system (200 shot) and she handled it with no problems for 2 years with no problems, but with proper maintenance. I think she dynoed around 820rwhp. NOW, is the question at hand. I took off the nitrous and put in a Procharger F1A-94 with up 1 on the crank pulley, and a TH400. She dynoed at 1386rwhp.
