When will this community learn ( Music), how many have to die.

I am simply amazed and dumb founded at how they all talk about pressures and stress.....This may get a little long.........Lemme see no one forced you into this business. Most, if not all, always talk about the struglles of getting into the music industry.
Once they make it they talk about the stress of touring, events, meeting etc.......hmmmmmmmm why do they think they must do a concert every night for 6 months? GREED. A concert every 3 or 4 days would be ok, hell once a week would be good but the MONEY is too good to turn down. If you are worn down then take a break but the almighty dollars rules. They love the attention except when they don't love it, they want the attention except when they don't want it.

They want fame and fortune but want privacy????? Can't have both especially in this genre of music..........

I love me some Whitney, her voice was angelic too bad her life wasn't........

Look over the past few years at who has died in Hollywood...Whitney, Michael, Amy Winehouse, Heath Ledger and the list goes on......WHY??????? Presciption Drugs is why.

Years ago heavy metal bands did enough drugs to kill horses but many are still around...now that Prescription drugs are the thing they are dying like flies because they are mixing it with alcohol...when you take a presc. med and add alcohol it is DEADLY.

Maybe just maybe people will learn from this death but the biggest problem I see is money.....too many people making money off them so they won't tell them no, too many people living off the stars money ( mooching) so they won't tell them no.....Record execs want just one more big hit, performances want that following of years past.

People make fun of Country music about losing their wife, the dog leaving, pickup truck breaking you name it but as an industry as a whole they aren't dying like flies....WHY? Maybe they are more grounded...who knows.....

Whitney grew up in a church setting so she knew better, but fame and fortune ruined a graceful, powerful singer who could influence so many lives...so sad..

BUT then again we as a society want to criticize someone like Tim Tebow because he has convictions that he tries to live by, tries to do the right thing........just makes you wonder where our priorities are as a society.......

I can understand a day or two of coverage on it, since she was famous and all. But only FAMILY members should be mourning her for weeks and months, not the general public. And definitely no need for 24/7 coverage of it either in my opinion.

It's happend time and again in the music business. Why anyone would mess with drugs i'll never know.
So who are the two "clean cut ones" out of that four?

I think he meant when they were first starting out, they were from good families etc... and then they went downhill from there.

in the mid 80's Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston were seen as about as squeaky clean as it gets.
