A question that you can ask that will give you a general idea of what allocations they might get is: how many Camaros have you gotten, if any, and when did you get them. Then ask if they have some kind of waiting list. If they say they haven't gotten any in months, I wouldn't believe they'd get one anytime soon. |

My 2023 SS order is at 3000
Hey y’all, so I currently own a black 2020 1LT Camaro that I’ll be trading in for the 2023 red hot SS that I ordered about 4 weeks ago. The Chevy chat told me that the target production date has moved up to 07/04/2022 from the 07/25/2022 and they said it’s at 3000. I’ve read some on what all of this means, but is that good? My 2020 1LT I legit drove to the dealership that had it and bought it off the lot. I’ve never ordered a car before, and I know with all the chip shortages, and material shortages it’s a weird time to order one. I thought I would ask all of y’all that know more than I do about this process, especially with the current times, to let me know when-ish my car will come in. I’m in south central Indiana, and as far as I know these cars are manufactured in Lansing Michigan, so not all too far from where the dealership is I bought it from. Thanks in advance for any input. I’m just so excited, and can not wait to get this SS.

As MightyBobo said, you're good at 3000, but you'll be even better in terms of production control at 3400. The target production week can move up and down until then.

Not sure what to make of my status. Dealer says I am at 3000 which I saw, chevy live agent says TPW 11 July, chevy online says no tpw has been assigned.

What's everyone's wait time been from 4300 status to delivery? I secured a 2022 intransit this week. Wondering what kind of wait I'm in for.

As of now I have a TPW of 6/27. That would be great if that holds, and it doesn't get stuck waiting for shipping. I would be ecstatic if it made it here by the first week in Aug.

My order was submitted the week of 5/15 (2SS 1LE), just today was told "Your vehicle order has been accepted by Chevrolet and is working toward the production process." So I assume that means it went into the 2000's recently. Hoping so, and hoping the rest is smooth and quick so I can enjoy it a little this year.
I hope you all the best as well. |
