Yes, that’s right. The extra bracing added to the convertibles to minimize cowl shake ends up limiting some of the ZL1’s performance features, like the eLSD (so no PTM modes) and most aftermarket exhaust options. You also lose roughly two-thirds of the trunk space when the top is down. In my opinion, the 5th- and 6th-gen Camaros were simply too large to make great convertibles without some significant compromises. If you want the full performance experience of the ZL1, the coupe is the way to go.
