Like with most things and questions like this, it's subjective. You'll get answers and opinions all over the spectrum. You may even find your tastes may change over time. Whatever works for you.

I did some carbon fiber on mine, mainly to offset the weight of a twin turbo kit and added heavy port injection system but it looks good too.

So my ZLE obviously came with some CF and I added a few select pieces, but I think I'm done. Ten years ago I would have gone overboard for sure.

What is everyones opinion on CF pieces?

1. You can never get enough?

2. You like a little tastefully done?

3. You don't like it at all?

4. If it doesn't make you faster who cares?
LOL

OP with visual mods you might want to consider your own opinion first and not much with other opinions. If you like something its all good! That is the only opinion that matters. Otherwise you are jousting with windmills.

But with performance mods listen to the experts. Thier opinions are based on experience and will usually save you from yourself.

Maybe before anything learn to spell the word “too”. Too much vs going to the store. Baffles me how illiterate some people are on this site.

In all seriousness, youre probably right though. Who in the world gets so bent out of shape about an informal car forum. Its not like this is some peer reviewed scientific article where spelling and grammar mistakes matter.

Also, although it pains me to say this, one does have to be a bit more tolerant of speling misstaeks in these days of aggressive autocorrection.

Back on topic..
I just bought my one and only piece of CF poseur piece, hear me or here me out to trigger the grammar police. I actually made a little thread on the subject.
I just wanted to break up the interior, and if the blue they used was a hyper matched piece i would consider it, the blue they offer is just way to bright to match anything, therefore I think CF just fits the trim detail better.
My opinion is yes you can definitely overdue it, especially if its fake add on pieces but that’s what I wanted to do, just add a small accent. It accomplished that and I can remove easy enough

I agree that a well placed piece of CF can actually add something to the car. I also believe the color of the car has a lot to do with how much CF you can get away with. Black and White cars tend can hide or blend CF better IMO, colorful cars tend to look goofy or overdone with to much.

I've put several carbon fiber parts on my car inside and out, and purely for aesthetics. I think there is a point of going overboard though. For example, if I had the CF fenders or ZL1 style hood from Anderson I'd have them painted (aside from the hood insert) as I think large different colored panels like those detract from the overall look of the car whereas slimmer pieces like lips and side skirts enhance it.
