I bought a 1ss Monday. They have a 2000 dollar cash rebate you will loose if doing the 0%. You also don’t have to do 84 months. You can pick any term you want, 0 down if you have good credit. I was going to buy a used 2016 2ss with 26k but at the end of the day with the rebates it ended up being less than 2000 bucks going with new one. The used 2ss had a lot more features but it didn’t really matter to me. The only thing I wish the one I got had is the dual mode exhaust.

Is anyone seeing 0% on 2020s? My local dealer has one '19 2SS vert at 0, but none of the '20s show this option on the website.

Check Chevrolet’s current offer’s page to see if it’s 2019 only or 2020’s as well. Remember 0% and rebates are trade off you can only get one or the other.

I'm shopping for a Silverado this week. I found a left over 2019 that they are offering a 7500 rebate on. You can get the rebate or 0%, NOT both. In this case it's much better to take the rebate and do conventional financing.

I took the Silverado I was going to buy home to show it to my GF, then drove it back and decided to buy it. They had an advertised price on Autotrader- that they jacked up 3K on me- said I did not qualify for the extra 3K to get to the advertised price since I did not have "points" on a GM credit card. I have always been honored the internet price from Autotrader on the many cars I have bought from seeing them advertised there. Jeez I even sometimes get a 100 or 200 of in addition from letting the dealer know I saw their vehicle on Autotrader. And I purchased my 2017 Camaro new from this dealer.

Needless to say I was really upset since they were firm on their 3K jacked up price, so i walked out. Still shopping, probably have to travel 100 miles now to get a fair deal.

So from my experience this week, dealers are open for business as usual.

This has become a very common practice in advertising sale prices of new vehicles. Some dealerships will advertise the price as if you qualify for ALL available discounts and rebates. This is, however, the first I have heard of them advertising a price that included GM reward points.

Their hope is once they get you in the door your desire will outweigh your intellect and you'll cave in and buy.

I think you did the right thing by walking out on that deal.

You can use it on a 20 along with any points or discounts you can come up with. The kicker is on the 20 is it might not be worth it to do the 0% because they don’t have much for rebates on them. The 19 1ss 10 speed I bought had 7,000 off just walking in the door and got it cheaper than I could find a 20 lt1 stick.

That is common practice by certain dealers to get a potential customer in the door. Customer thinks that are getting the full discount price then find out after sitting down that instead of qualifying for say $7,500 off the ad or the dealers website price listed they only qualify for one rebate at $1,500 off.

I'm not following. My understanding is no discounts qualify on 0%, you pay what they're asking. I'm also not clear how you got 7k off a new 1SS.
