The OP is cammed with LT's.....not even tuning is going to quiet it down much on cold start. Even in stealth mode it's going to be loud.

I moved to stealth in all modes and the startup is quieter for sure on my SS. With my setup (LTs. cats, NPP) Stealth full time is the way to go for me..

The car is actually silent in stealth mode, i had sound manager defaulted to sport mode and didn't realize it.

You don't need to buy anything to do this, it's all in your settings. Press home and go to settings. Go into the vehicle options and you can change everything individually (exhaust, steering, suspension with Mag ride). The only thing with this is you have to set this BEFORE you turn off your engine the time before (so set yourself up for the next time you're gunna drive it).

I too leave the house around 5AM and I know my neighbors have to be bummed lol. I did what was mentioned before and held the start button for 5 sec to get the my link to launch and set it to Stealth before start up. Made a noticeable difference.

I just had a question though. If I leave it in Stealth at that point and drive away, then I use the switch on the console to change it into Sport for example, does the exhaust portion stay in Stealth and only the steering and suspension only go to Sport?

After driving it away should I set it back to auto? I think the answer is yes but I just want to confirm.

Yes when I get to the end of neighborhood, i turn it to default sport , track, or auto. If it's in the afternoon, i open cutouts open all the way.

Once you change it from the screen settings it'll be more a manual selector until you switch it back to the 'mode selector option' (which takes a matter of seconds to do all this btw). Works great for me though. Start up in stealth, get down the street a bit and track mode...never really use anything except those two modes to be honest

If you have your fuse pulled this means nothing right because valves stay open?
And when you cant remote start when its freezing out becsuse you have to hold in the start button first would suck

Thanks guys. Now that's I've had a few mornings to play with it I agree. The menu stays up and it just takes a second to set it back to the auto mode. It's too bad you can't have a shortcut on the home screen that toggles these. That would be cool.

There is another way so you do not have to set yourself up for the next day. I know I would forget too dang many times. =)

When you get in your car do not touch the brake, press and hold the start button for several seconds...till everything lights up. This puts the car in demo mode so you can make setting changes before starting the car. Select drive mode / stealth then fire it up silently. I do this all the time to be kind in the morning if I am on the go early.
