You've got a $50k car and you're messing with a $130 hack from ebay lol...have fun with that. The tuner is $399 and will include a custom tune for your car. That's also about what I paid for my Diablo Trinity years ago that I used on my Charger. The Trinity contains canned tunes for different octanes and lets you adjust everything from throttle response to cooling to shift firmness...tons of things.

Both can be used on different cars and plug right into the car, so there's no installation of anything. You plug in, load the tune or flash back to stock, then unplug it...or you can mount it like a radar detector and it monitors different variables while your drive.

You should probably research what a tuning device does before you say it's not worth it. To me paying $130 just to adjust my throttle response is a waste of money. Every car is different - just look at the variance in dyno results from SS to SS. While i was happy with the Trinity, I'm going with a real tune this time. It's the best performance bang for your buck, and they can even use them to get your car to pass emissions.

The Camaros' ECM or ECU records the last five things done too the car, so how does flashing back to the factory tune not cost you your factory warranty?

You really think the dealers doesn't know your tuning the vehicle?

As a prior Mustang owner, a notice was sent out too Ford dealers concerning the very issue of tuners being used.

I'm curious, are the ECM's different in G.M vehicles, Id love too go the tuner route and get a full tune done instead of going the PedalMax route, but I just paid $2000.00 for an extended 5 year 100,000 mile warranty and would hate too lose my cash.

I know that allot of people find the extended warranties a waist of time and money, but I figure this being the first year of the new generation better safe than sorry.
