Since my PDR didn't start on that run and my boy and nephew didn't get a video as clean as yours, I don't have anything for it. Wish I could've gotten an outside shot of my last run as well, but my nephews phone died and my boys phone ran out of memory. Lol!

Thanks! Didn't know that. I didn't have any that low, so I'm not sure. Maybe low air does cause it, but that was the first time it's happened to me. I tried it after shutting the car off for a few minutes after the pass and it worked fine, so I was just thinking it was one of those electronic things that just needed a reboot. That's why I tried turning the car off right before the pass. Maybe I didn't leave it off long enough before restarting.

There's all kinds of stuff that goes on when you see people post records. Always fine print and not much surprises me anymore LOL.
Dave, I'll shoot you a link to DL a copy tonight without the watermark and my other junk in the video. Look forward to heading back to the track with you this fall. My old R/T ran 10.80s and I plan to set the Hellcat up similar with a goal of matching or beating that time. That's the stating point for me. This is me in the orange car vs my buddy in the black. Mine was a M6 and his an auto and we had similar builds. Great day at the track. The Hellcat is an auto, so should be a lot easier (I hope LOL) |

Nice runs!! Looks like you were making a little more power than him based on the gain on the big end, but you really beat him out of the hole.
You'll easily beat that with the Hellcat by just hooking it up on the launch. That's why tires will definitely be my first mod. If I can go from a finesse launch, to a wide open one, I should see some good gains. Not sure if a tire alone will make that happen, but I sure want to find out. I appreciate the video and also look forward to running this fall. I want to check out that Mango Hellcat. That's one of my favorite colors on them.

Typically the autos would also run 5/10ths faster due to tuning differences with throttle closing on the M6 at shift, timing pull, etc. That was a huge factor in consideration when I went with the A8 in the Hellcat, that and it's just a bad ass trans. Fell in love with it in the Camaro with those hard fast shift at WOT. |

I was looking over the time slips Dave. I think it's gonna take a 1.6x 60' to get the 10s. That 1.72 may have gotten it done but it'd be tight. 1.6x would likely do it for sure. We need to get a log of the car to see how that can be achieved.

Deep staging hurts your ET, MPH and 60'. Deep staging is good to lower your reaction time. I like to just barely trip the 2nd staging light. Fastest ET that way. Leave on the 3rd yellow.

Not that I know of. The suspected TM barrier was first believed to be 1.8, but that has been disproved many times now, but I haven't seen one any lower than 1.7 yet. I can say that if drag radials increase traction as much as everyone says they do, I could've hit some 1.6s or better, as I've gotten a 1.72 and 1.73 (along with a few other 1.7s) on the stock street tires.
