I gave them a fair shot many times over the last 10 years. It is now our procedure to test every wire we install or remove, even when changing plugs. We are finding more bad wires then we should. Had a car on the dyno yesterday with brand new Accel Ceramic boot wires showing misfire on full throttle pulls. It is disheartening that Quality is going out of everything. An Ohm meter can show a bad connection, the power in the coils can still jump that gap in the wire and the car won't skip, until the spark load gets high then misfire occurs. It is a bigger problem than ever before. I also see this in many of my remote tuning sessions and have to advise wires and plugs get tested, checked, or replaced Thanks for all the discussion almost feels like years past. Ted.

Would it be worth the effort to wrap the headers?

How much of a difference does this make with aftermarket headers+high flow cats vs straight connection pipes?
