I'll toss them in a separate thread with that question.. re: #4 -- I've got the carpet around the driver's seat pulled back - the sound deadening in it is very thick. I don't think I understand what you mean about it not applying for mounts on a seat bracket.. Thanks for the tips! |

Some of the pictures above had the lap belt mounts on the seat brackets. In our install the stock seats were used and the lap belts mounted to the floor board behind the seat. You obviously want large washers to distribute the load, but the floor board isn't completely flat. In order to get it to work we had to grind a 3/8" flat into one side of the washer making more of a "D" shape than a "O" shape. We cut the carpet and pad on the top side where the belt mounting bolts went through. He used a 4-point belt set designed to do that with factory seats.
