I used 6lb fishing line, didn't bother to heat them and the badges came off in seconds. I then decided to use a Wonder Wheel. The adhesive came off like dust… very easy. Little WD40 took off any remaining sticky residue. Windex’ed real good and applied the replacement. Rear is complete. Too dark now, so waiting until tomorrow to put on the hood insert emblems.

Looking good! Excited to see the hood when you're done

Done. Did it the garage. No issues. I like this matt black way better than that chrome.

Looks great! They all came out good! I've never been a big chrome person either. I get rid of it as much as I can on every vehicle I have.

Does anyone have a link for this guy that isn't on Instagram/snap chat? I don't like that social media but seems to be harder and harder to get away from using it.

An under hood Brian Tooley Racing placard he created for me by stippling the logo into the gloss finish.

Looks really good. Nice job.

I wonder how those would look on the standard Mosaic black hood bulge. I'd be afraid that they would blend in too much.

I replaced the chrome emblem on the back of my car right after I got it with a gloss black one.

I think if you did Matte that it would maybe blend in a little bit, but I do feel the Matte would "stick out" more than if you did gloss letters/numbers. I feel the gloss may blend in more??? Just my .02 P.S. I DO like the gloss on the rear though!!
