Yeah I would gladly give up a little lift height before I stacked blocks
I ordered a bunch of universal lift pads from amazon on different shapes and sizes as well so it's easy to find a good combo to use no matter that car I am working on

I've got a QJ and think it's awesome. My only beef: I find it tough to get the blocks positioned properly to get my Camaro up in the air. It's very fiddly, but I also normally do it alone.

Yes, does not reach the front most point. It is quite stable as is, though. Takes me about 5 minutes to pull them in place, set the pucks and blocks, and up she goes!
